Peek inside
My little shop is situated at 15a Warwick Street. It's the smallest shop on the street so be careful not to miss it! You have seen the outside, let me show you a peek inside!
Welcome to The Wool Bar, I love my little shop and I hope that you will too!
Lots of lovely yarns, my favourites are the Manos Del Uruguay silk mixes, they are completely luxurious and I love the fact they are fairtrade and buying these yarns help others:
I try to bring colour and exciting yarns to the shop; you can buy yarn anywhere but buying yarn that makes you drool, well that's a different story!
You can enjoy a lovely fairtrade coffee or cup of tea whilst you browse:
And my cupboards are packed full of lovely light weight wooden & bamboo needles and crochet hooks.
The shop has a charity box full of odd balls and second hand needles, so if you knit for charity or are just starting out and don't want to spend much money, for a small donation you can pick up some nice oddments. To date (May 2011), the shop has raised £200 for Worthing Hospital, £210 for St Barnabas, £150 for Breast Cancer Care & £50 went to the Haiti Disaster Appeal, I also like to support the Poppy Appeal.
Please do pop in at any time, there will always be a warm welcome waiting for you. It may be a tiny shop but I hope you will find it is full of loveliness!
